Skeena River fishing guides we are always ready to take you on a fishing adventure, every month of the year offers a different species of Salmon & Steelhead. If your interested in learning spey casting or single hand fly fishing our guides have years of experience teaching anglers from around the world the art of spey casting using dry lines or sink tip fly lines casting to large Salmon & Steelhead or Trophy Rainbow trout lake fishing using an indicator or dry line fishing a sedge. Summer run steelhead are now entering the Skeena main stem, we are fortunate enough to still have strong runs of steelhead migrating the Skeena on route to all the fabled rivers , Babine, Kispiox, Bulkley-Nechako, Morice, Sustut, Copper, Kalum to name a few these are the home rivers for holding, spawning steelhead and should be off limits into the later Months, as steelhead have been in the river system for nearly 3 months with potential of multiple encounters can put unnecessary stress on these beautiful creatures we all love. Catching these fish on the Main stem Skeena is truly an anglers dream / accomplishment as they have just entered the Skeena they are fresh silver and healthy. With proper Catch and release practices steelhead can be released with no harm allowing them to complete their migration. If you would like to reserve a day or a week of guided fishing with a passionate knowledgeable guide you are nearly there please feel to cast us a line @ Ph – 1-250-630-0021 Tight Lines Gill McKean.
